Dogtainers Perth

Firstly, my flight was cancelled with no reason, so Dogtainers had to find a new flight, they found my 11 week old puppy a new flight with a different airline, however this airline has an age restriction of 12 weeks old. I explained that my puppy is 11 weeks old and asked multiple times if this is ok. I was on hold numerous times for Hollie the customer service person to double check if this was in fact ok. Hollie then assured me that if I pay an extra fee it would be fine. So I did pay the extra fee and 10 days went by. It was the evening before the puppy's flight that we got a call saying he could not fly because he was 11 weeks. Even after, I, the client expressed my concern for Dogtainers booking with an airline that had an age restriction and they assured me it would be fine. This is extremely frustrating as I had rescheduled all of my clients for that day to collect the puppy from the airport. The puppy flying in was also a surprise for my partner and I had made multiple plans to ensure this all worked out. Age restrictions and cancelling flights within adequate time frames should be apart of standard training and this sort of thing should not happen! not to mention, TEN DAYS went by before we were told and to be told the night before!! Just unacceptable! I would never use this company again! NOT RELIABLE.

Pet transport Adelaide to Kalgoorlie via Perth travelling with me on same flights. Dog wasn’t transferred at Perth due to not lodging paperwork. Dog was left in Perth freight terminal until I raised an alert with Dogtainers after hours. I questioned the paperwork in Adelaide as it was missing second flight, but told she’d be picked up in Perth, taken for a walk and her paperwork would be updated there. It wasn’t. She was left alone, no doubt scared, in a noisy freight terminal. What was supposed to be 9 hours of travel for our dog turned into 26 hours. She arrived on first flight next morning (they kennelled her overnight) You trust these people with your pet, not good enough Dogtainers!

Won’t ever use another company, Dogtainers know what they doing and did a great job. Gemma Hall assisted me in getting my little kitten to me. Given it was Covid, flights kept changing daily. She kept me well informed and looked for the best flight option at the best price for me every day until she found the best route and the best price. I could not recommend Dogtainers enough. Great Price and Great Service

Dogtainers were very helpful in assisting our dog, Dobby’s move interstate from Melbourne to Perth. Even after Virgin cancelled the flight Dobby was on. Dogtainers kept me me up to date on the next available flight and eventually hiring a charter flight due to so many cancellations from Virgin. Highly recommend them to fly your fur-babies, especially during the uncertainty of the pandemic and previous border restrictions.

Incredibly prompt, professional and friendly email responses from Zoe at dogtainers, who got a flight booked for my pup very quickly.The woman who met us at the pick up point in Perth (unfortunately I didn't get her name) was absolutely lovely as well. I'd recommend dogtainers to anyone needing to fly their furry friends anywhere.

I am so disappointed with the service I received. I filled out the form to fly a puppy from Melbourne to Perth. Had not heard anything for three days and decided to call them. After two phone calls and about 6 hours later, someone called me to say that the vet is booked out and the puppy couldn't fly til almost a week later due to holidays. When I asked if there were other vets that could complete the airway test they lied to me and said that there was only one vet in Melbourne which is total false.

We've imported our 1 year old Labrador from Thailand via Germany to Australia. The German agency worked together with Dogtainers who did a great job, ie securing the spot at PEQ, booking the flight from Melbourne to Perth, the final destination, getting a smaller travel crate than ours as the aircraft couldn't transport both and the heavy crate at the same time due to Covid limits. Besides they arranged her stay for 3 nights in their own lovely family owned boarding facility/kennel upon release from PEQ as there were no earlier flights available to Perth. Our beloved Lab arrived safe and sound in Perth. All this happened while Vic was in a lock down and the interstate boarders were closed and I was overly concerned that our pup would stuck somewhere.

I felt the need to leave this review for people considering in the future.My experience with Dogtainers in Perth was frustrating. I received conflicting information from staff members regarding prices/quotes and paid $185 extra for the same service (crate hire and transportation) I received in Melbourne. I was aware of the after-hours delivery fee, yet an additional $185 does not seem right.My dog Annie flew from Perth Airport to Melbourne Tullamarine, scheduled to arrive at 19:35. I received a call from a staff member named Mark, informing me Annie had not been collected and was sitting in a crate for quite some time. Being in Perth, I could not retrieve her and attempted to contact the Dogatainers Emergency, out-of-hours number. No answer after multiple attempts from my end in Perth and Marks end in Melbourne.It was not until midnight that Annie left the airport, owing to the gracious Virgin Cargo staff member Mark, who offered to drop her at my Melbourne home. If not for him, I don't know what I would have done. I am so utterly disappointed in the Dogtainers service, for their negligence and unreachable emergency number.After following up, I received a full refund for this service, which I expected and am thankful for. I hope that Dogtainers take more care in future and provide accurate out-of-hours contacts for their customers. Nobody's pets should be subject to extended hours in a crate in an unfamiliar environment.
